{Make It Wear It} Wiksten Tank

I’ve been needing a tank top to go under my Peasy Cargidan since it’s just tight enough to bunch up any sleeve that I try to wear under it. I picked up this adorable print the other day while at Pacific Fabrics and then luckily had the perfect print in my stash to use as the binding! I love double gauze for shirts…so soft and light yet still drapes fairly well. I somehow ended up with a neck band that was a tad too small, so had to patch about 2″ into it…other than that it’s was a pretty simple pattern!

Project Notes:

Pattern: Wiksten Tank
Fabric: Kokka double gauze french bulldog in B&W (it’s more “natural” than “white” though),  and a Japanese Kei Honeycomb polka dot in B&W
Mods: Raised the neckline 1″
Notes: I might add bust darts next time to reduce some of the front fabric bulk and try and figure out how to shrink the armholes a bit since I have smaller arms.
